Al Clark-Christopher’s Journal

Trapped and alone in the revolving habitat ring of a massive colonial starship, Chris Morris struggles to discover the fate of his fellow shipmates. The lack of a security card prevents him from leaving the ring to discover the status of the vessel or its occupants.

In the beginning, his efforts are concentrated on finding a way out of the deserted living quarters to where his people are being kept in stasis or the bridge where he is sure to gain information about where and when the ship is.

To document his dilemma and kill time, he begins a journal complete with drawings of his unintended prison. This short story portrays his life on the starship, and what it takes to stay alive and sane.
