One Wheel Battle Pod

The Future of War:

Unfortunately, we, as a race, will not stop inventing new wars. Even after relocating to other worlds, there will be a need for war machines. This concept combines high mobility with deadly fire power.

Created with cut paper and markers for a simulated 3D effect.

Alien Life

Somewhere in the universe there is another planet with life. Although it may not be animal life, it is life in preparation of creatures that crawl, walk, and stand . This oil painting is my interpretation of plant life on another world – patiently waiting for the people that will abuse or adapt them for their own purposes.

Starship One

Have you ever dreamed of building your own spacecraft? I’ll bet you have. Although this version lacks the streamlined stainless steel construction and crew abort module, the ride would be one to remember. Powered by Bottle Rockets. (Ink and Markers)

This is an illustration created for childrens’ rooms.

Space Ship 2

After travelling for months, a navigational error has thrown this poor soul off course. When she manages to land on a desolate, rocky world, she stops to pray to the universe for directions. Will she find her way home, and if she does – will it still be there?

This is part of a set of space ships created with cut-paper resembling rock and steel, and a touch of markers.

Space Cat

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

My selection for today has nothing to do with the Irish holiday, but it’s green.

For thousands of years cats have befriended us. Because of our special bond, I see no reason they won’t follow us into space. Here is a computer generated graphic of a possible home base for a cat aboard a space ship. It is from here the cat will control the mouse population. 🙂

Coming or Going?

I painted this a few years ago. When SpaceX began building the Starship Protoype, the concept reminded me of this rendition of an undergound spaceport. Acrylic on Canvas.

European Cafe

The last day of February brings an Acrylic on Canvas Painting. This piece is a reproduction of a large print hanging in my living room. I like it so much that I had to create a version of my own. I spent time in Germany while in the military and small cafes such as this are common. Drinking coffee and eating pastries early in the morning, while sitting at an outdoor table is a great way to start the day. This is living.

Undercover Mission

This is something I created back in college. These little commandos can hide in the most unusual places, and are quite good at subterfuge. This might be the inspiration for my book VINCENT. Is it obvious I loved Art Class?
